No Separate Entrance Test for PG Medical and Dental Seats in Karnataka

National Board of Examination would conduct the entrance test for the selection of Karnataka state PG medical and dental seat candidates this year. For the session 2015-16, the department of medical education has clearly mentioned that the Karnataka State Government would not conduct any separate entrance tests. The filling up of any postgraduate seats in any of the government medical colleges and government seats in private medical colleges of Karnataka would not be done through any separate tests for the students of Karnataka.

The Department of Medical Education has pointed out that it would be using the merit list of Karnataka students prepared by such all India examination. They would get counseled and would be allotted PG seats in various disciplines of medical and dental stream according to their acquired ranks in the All India Medical examination.

The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) 2015 is scheduled to get conducted from 01 December 2014, which would last till 06 December 2014. All the aspirants are thus needed to apply for the exams that are willing to get admissions in the medical and dental PG courses at various government and private colleges.

The applicants can register online for AIPGMEE 2015, before 10 October 2014 along with the prescribed fee for the examination. For more details the applicants are requested to go through the notification issued by the National Board of Examinations.
