The commerce paper of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X exam, comprises three sections. Candidates can select any one of the three sections (optional), duration of which is of three hours. The total marks for each section is 90. However, the third section is of two hours and is contents of 30 marks. The sections are as follows:

  1. Elements of Business
  2. Elements of Book-keeping and Accountancy
  3. Typewriting (Theory) Hindi or English
