The National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune invites applications for the admission to the Post Graduate Diploma Management course in Banking and Financial Services PGDM (B & FS) for the academic session 2015-17.

Candidates who are interested to apply must be a graduate with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA, awarded from a recognised university.

Candidates seeking admission to PGDM (B & FS) should appear for CAT 2014 /ATMA (Feb 2015)/CMAT (2015).

Shortlisted candidate will be called for group discussion and interview during April 2015 in selected centers. They may have to take additional written test if required at the later stage.

The last date to apply is February 28, 2015.

PhD programme

The Bangalore University opens the admission to PhD programme that will help to get qualified to teach at the university level in the specific field of his or her degree, or to work in a specific profession.

The Ph.D programmes are offered at various faculties like Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Commerce, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Engineering.

Candidates who have cleared entrance exams like UGC/UGC-CSIR JRF Test / NET/ SLET/ SET/ GATE and are eligible to apply, doesn’t required to appear for the entrance examination.

Candidates should have passed Master’s degree in relevant discipline, with 55 per cent of marks or equivalent from a recognised institute.

The entrance test paper is of total 100 marks with multiple choice questions of one mark each. The duration of the test will be 120 minutes. The last date for the submission of application form is October 11, 2014 and the entrance test will be held on October 23, 2014.
